Save the Date: Deep South Tobacco Prevention and Control Policy Institute

The Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco-Free Living (TFL) and the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals Tobacco Control Program (TCP) invite tobacco prevention and control leaders and public health advocates from six Southern states to participate in the second annual Deep South Tobacco Prevention and Control Policy Institute at the New Orleans Loews Hotel, August 3-5, 2011.

The purpose of this Institute is to arm community advocates and state partners with evidence-based interventions that decrease exposure to secondhand smoke and tobacco initiation by young people, and the expertise to increase tobacco control policies.

TFL and TCP grantees and partners, as well as tobacco prevention and control leaders from Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida and South Carolina are invited to attend.
